SPEDtecPCA is for school districts who need an easy way to track and report Personal Care Attendant (PCA) encounters with students who qualify for Medical Reimbursement from the state of Minnesota. The app allows a PCA to record up to 5 encounters per student per day for each PCA service as well as two transportation-related encounters per student per day.
Users record the encounters throughout the month. After the month ends, the PCA ‘validates’ the information by displaying all encounters recorded and electronically signing the screen verifying the encounters.+

The school MA administrator can then print a report of all validated encounters for a selected date range. The report is formatted to allow easy entry into the MN-ITS system for state reimbursement.
